Staff were friendly, took you to your table and gave you the menus.  They gave you enough time to settle and choose before they came back to table to take orders. The food was delicious and the place was light and airy.  Very enjoyable.

The restaurant |Mackenzie&#39;s^ is located on a grassy area on the Hunan side of Tekapo. There are not many buildings here. It is easy to find. It is not to say how special the restaurant itself is, but this view is really great. In the outdoor seat, you can easily see the reflective Lake Tekapo. This is my first. One time I looked at a lake so seriously, the milky blue lake, the first reaction to my mind was like a blue liquid in the milk, and the more you look at it, the more you see there are many different types of blue, different levels of blue mixed together, rich and not monotonous, but in another. The corner is a color of milk blue. The first time I saw this colored lake is said to be because of the precipitation of some element at the bottom of the lake, but it is really really beautiful. The Cramond Inn It&rsquo;s a small tavern. After coming in, there is no cave. It&rsquo;s a great place. There are grilled fish. It&rsquo;s great with red wine. The overall is quite good. The waiter is more polite.

Just been here on the recommendation of an Indian lady who was teaching us to make curry, saying its the only one in Edinburgh she goes to. It was fantastic, one of the best Indian meals we have had. They have just won curry of the year award and well deserved too.

Bar staff and restaurant staff were excellent but that&#39;s where the positives really ground to a halt. One of our party of 3 enjoyed both his course choices - the nachos and the grilled Limerick ham. My sister and i enjoyed our starters of chicken liver parfait and the smoked salmon roulade, however, our mains of grilled fillet of beef medallions were cold, served on cold plates and had to be returned to the kitchen. By the time they reappeared, my brother-in-law had finished his main course. When I ordered the &#39;medallions&#39;, I expected plump little cushions of juicy fillet steak. What I got were a couple of thin slices of fairly tough meat which bore a greater resemblance to slices of beef ham than to any fillet medallion I have eaten. The gratin potato portions were microscopically small and the haggis slice was dry. At a cost of &pound;19.95, this really was a shocking rip-off. Given our experience, I couldn&#39;t possibly recommend a visit to this place.

Enjoyed our bank holiday meal the tomato and  basil soup, carvery and sorbet just disappointed that ice cream machine was broken

Great choice of meats. It was a good set of vegetables. Friendly staff. The car park needs some attention as it is covered in very many different coloured circles.

Looked after my old aged cousin very well and were very friendly and polite. The food was of a good standard but the Yorkshire pudding was a little crispy and the veggies definitely a bit under cooked. Overall, a good experience.

I know the restaurant well and always enjoy it. I was impressed with how warm it was on a Winter&#39;s day. Only criticism was slightly undercooked sprouts.
